Past midway, but still a long stretch
Though I had less issues with graphics, as most of it is bought assets. I did find issues in getting the actual stuff together from Story to actual game mechanics. The mystery that had to be solved, should require some specific steps from the player. But of course...these steps should be logical. Not like what I once heard about 'Battleship Atlantis' , where you had to hit an android with its own leg over the butt until it would spill the beans. The steps should relate to the story and have the player wonder about the outcome, but also give some reason to actually go the length. I finally have the spawn system in place. It isn't pretty. It is extendable, but it is also limited in functionality. This is a good thing for a game in 7 days, but I always hate myself for any code that is not reusable on a bigger scale.
So, where do we stand? We stand at day 5, with basically most of the narration to be filled and to have the story align with the actual game....Without saying too much.
